In the 1930's smoking was considered to be totally acceptable. In fact it was more than that - it was very much en vogue.
An independent tobacconist would chose the size and style to suit their requirements. Our freelance design, based on the 1930's vogue is therefore quite appropriate.
The kiosk represents an independent tobacconist trader's kiosk and as such would be painted in the house colours of the trader. We chose maroon as it was not used elsewhere on the station.
