This dray dates back to the turn of the century and is of a standard GWR design.
The vehicle had been purchased from the GWR in the 1930's for farm use and has been kept under cover from that date.
It was bought by the Friends in 1996 from the farm near Nuneaton and moved to Kidderminster to begin its restoration.
This project has been achieved using many traditional skills, both from within the Friends and outside. This has included Wheelwrights, Blacksmiths and Carpenters and the completed dray is seen here pulled by 'Truman' on Heavy Horse Day.
