Early in the twentieth century the Great Western introduced a number of bus routes to make up for gaps in the rail network. One such service was between Bridgnorth and Wolverhampton.
A bus was stabled at Bridgnorth for the service in a steel and wooden framed building clad in corrugated iron sheeting.
Much of the original building has survived for re-use at Kidderminster. Our flat bed trailer and the Scammell Mechanical Horse will get a home out of the weather. A mezzanine platform will allow the storage of equipment for special events.
